About Melissa-

Hi there! I grew up in Dallas, Texas with a wide variety of interests including comic books, video games, and a deep love for all types of animation. After high school I changed scenery to Savannah, Georgia where I got my BFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design in June 2006 with a major in Animation (concentration on 2D character animation) and a minor in Sequential Art. I then moved on to Radical Axis in Atlanta, Georgia. There I began animating and designing on projects including Freak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Squidbillies, the latter of which I am currently a lead animator on.

In June of 2011 I started a blog for animation study and reference called Frame x Frame. The blog posts still images from isolated segments of various animated films, shows, and shorts, to better view and appreciate what makes great animation what it is.
